Puskas Arena To Host 2022 Europa League Final UEFA has announced that the 67,215-capacity Puskas Arena in Budapest,Hungary will host the 2022 Europa league final . The stadium was opened in November 2019 and will host four games of the Euro 2020 finals this summer. European football's governing body also announced Helsinki in Finland and kazan in Russia as hosts of the super cup in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Juventus stadium in Turin,Italy will host  the 2022 women's champions league final,with PSV stadium in Eindhoven,Netherlands named hosts in 2023 .

Former Liverpool striker cops four months Football Ban for Betting offences Former Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge has been banned from all football and football -related activity " worldwide until 17 June for breaching betting rules . The former Liverpool striker was initially given a six-week ban last summer, four of them suspended,but  the football Association successfully appealed against the length of his ban which has been meted by a independent commission . An appeal board also doubled the 30-year-old's fine to 150,000 pounds . Sturridge's contract with Turkish side ,Trabzonspor was also terminated by mutual agreement on Monday .

40 Falconets called up for  Burkina Faso 2020 FIFA U20 women's World Cup Qualifiers Nigeria's U20 women's team, the Falconets will set up camp in the federal capital territory, Abuja as from Tuesday ahead of their 2020 FIFA U20 women's world cup qualifying fixture against Burkina Faso this month . At the weekend ,the Nigeria football federation approved the appointment of  Moses Adukwu as Ist Assistant coach, with Bilikisu Tijani as 2nd Assistant and Audu Yahaya as Goalkeepers'Trainer of the Falconets. Adukwu,who will hold forth as head of the technical crew pending the appointment of a Head coach, has called up 40 players to begin preparation for the clash against Burkina Faso, who edged out Gambia 3-2 on aggregate  in the first round of the qualifiers . Emmanuel Amuneke Denise sack,clarifies Roles At El-Makassa Former super Eagles winger,Emmanuel Amuneke has clarified his position at Egyptian premier league side, El-Makassa after reports emerged that he had been sacked after only 28 days in charge . Amuneke told the BBC that he only transitioned to another role within the club necessitating a change in his title from head coach to Director  of the club's Academies across Africa. But reports emerged  at the weekend that  the former Zamalek player has been sacked after just two  games in charge and have been replaced by  Ehab Galal as El-Makassa new head coach . El-Makassa are currently struggling in the Egyptian league lying  in the 16th position with 14 points .
