Ishiagu Grassroots Football: The challenging and Difficulties for developing young and Potential Footballers in the Community Some of us came from a community where Football are not be taken seriously and that has been the case of a community,which is one of the 13 Local Government in Ebonyi State(Ivo Local Government Area)over the past 30 years or more . Ishiagu is known for their cultural heritage(New Yam Festival) and also for producing the best known Educationalist and Well Educated individuals across the state but at the same time they struggle to have any professional football players in any of the 11 communities ,which are ,Amaonye,Ngwogwo,Amaeze,Amata,Amagu,Okue,Ogwor,Ihie,Ihietutu,Amaeke,Amaokwe . It has been a difficult and challenging issue for those Footballers who still want to play football on the high level to continue training Week in and week out and not having any chance of been given a opportunity to such that they are good enough to play socc
