2021 AFCON Qualifiers:Iheanacho, Dessers called up for super Eagles,Sierra Leone clash Leicester city forward Kelechi and Belgian-born forward Cyril Dessers have both been called up by super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr for this month's 2021 Africa cup of Nations qualifiers against sierra Leone . Players who also made the cut are Spain-based duo Samuel Chukwueze and Ramon Azeez ,German-based Fortuna Düsseldorf goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, Leicester city's midfielder Wilfrid Ndidi ,Alex Iwobi who plays for Everton and Glasgow Rangers of Scotland midfielder Joe Aribo have all been called up . Rohr has reportedly kept faith the bulk of the squad that played the first two Qualifiers with William Troost-Ekong ,ola Aina ,moses Simon ,victor Oshimen and the returning of midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo to the team . The first leg of the encounter between the super Eagles and the Leone stars have been fixed for 27 march at the Stephen keshi stadium,Asaba with the return leg

UEFA Nations League Draws: England to Battle Belgium Baring Coronavirus spread England has been drawn to face Belgium, Denmark and Iceland in the UEFA Nations League after the draws were conducted on Tuesday . The three lions faced Roberto martinez's Belgium side twice at the 2018 world cup,once at the end of the group phase and again in the third play-off,losing in both occasions. MFM FC defender Joshua Akpudje seals move To  Latvian side MFM FC defender Joshua Akpudje has completed a move to Latvian club BFC Daugavpils for an undisclosed fee. Akpudje, 21,who signed a multi -year deal with the Latvian side   on Tuesday . He is expected to make his debut for his new club when Liepaja visit the 3,980-capacity Celtnieks stadium in Daugavpils in the season - opening round of fixtures in the Latvian Higher league .

Reasons why  Rohr should invites Enyimba's Stanley Dimgba and Akwa united's Ndifreke Effiong in his 23-man list for the upcoming AFCON 2021 Qualifiers later this month Super Eagles head coach,Gernot Rohr will later this week released the 23-man list for the upcoming 2021 Africa cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone later this month. Some of the super Eagles stand out players playing their trade aboard are struggling for game time ,the likes of Alex Iwobi,Samuel Chukwueze ,Oghenekaro Etebo and Wilfrid Ndidi who has been struggling from an ankle injury for over the past weeks month and could only play for 15 minutes in Leicester city's 1-0 lost away against Norwich city on Friday night . this is the latest motion passed by the National Assembly for two or more Nigeria Professional Football League players to be invited to the super Eagles national team for the upcoming Qualifiers .
