Man Utd consider changing preseason trip to China over fear of coronavirus

MANCHESTER UNITED have postponed talks over their preseason plans because of the coronavirus outbreak, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been approached about returning to China in the summer to play more high profile fixtures following their success last season

United faced Tottenham in Shanghai in July but chiefs want the Red Devils to spend more time in Asia before the start of next campaign.
Talks are on hold following the outbreak which originated in China and has infected more than 40,000 people across the world .

Over 1,000 people have died since the first outbreak in Wuhan and numbers are expected to rise as they struggle to contain the virus.
Many parts of China have been on lockdown with airline companies stopping flights in and out of country.

United could now be forced to play matches in other parts of Asia but they will be eager to arrange plans sooner rather than later .
