NPFL : Rangers Stun Jigawa Golden Stars in Enugu, Enyimba thrashes Wikki Tourists 3-0
In one of the Rescheduled NPFL matchday 13 fixtures played today, Enugu Rangers continue with their unbeaten run in the second half of the season as they defeated visitors, Jigawa Golden Stars 1-0 at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium ,Enugu .
Dauda madaki 70 minutes strike made the difference for Rangers after the first half ended goalless .
Madaki broke the deadlock inside the 70th minutes of the game when He strike home from close range after Ibrahim olawoyin finds him with a through ball inside the box.
Abduikadir Danburan came very close to level the game for Jigawa Golden Stars with a free kick which hits the cross bar in the 90th minutes of the game .
The win moved Rangers to 16 place with 20 points after 15 NPFL games with 4 more games to play in hand .
In other Rescheduled games played today, Enyimba picked up their third NPFL win in a row after they thrashes Wikki Tourists 3-0 through goals from Stanley Dimgba ,Austin Oladapo and Victor Mbaoma in the 45th ,56th and 77th minutes of the game .the win moved Enyimba to 11th place with 24 points after 15 NPFL games with 4 more games to play in hand .
Ndifreke Effiong also strike in Akwa United's 2-2 draw against Rival,Dakkada FC at Nest of Champions. Dakkada FC still stay in 5th with 30 points after 20 NPFL games while Akwa united stay in 6th position with 29 points after 20 NPFL games .
Akwa united will be on the road this weekend as they will be in Enugu to take on Rangers at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday .
