Reasons why  Rohr should invites Enyimba's Stanley Dimgba and Akwa united's Ndifreke Effiong in his 23-man list for the upcoming AFCON 2021 Qualifiers later this month



Super Eagles head coach,Gernot Rohr will later this week released the 23-man list for the upcoming 2021 Africa cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone later this month.

Some of the super Eagles stand out players playing their trade aboard are struggling for game time ,the likes of Alex Iwobi,Samuel Chukwueze ,Oghenekaro Etebo and Wilfrid Ndidi who has been struggling from an ankle injury for over the past weeks month and could only play for 15 minutes in Leicester city's 1-0 lost away against Norwich city on Friday night . this is the latest motion passed by the National Assembly for two or more Nigeria Professional Football League players to be invited to the super Eagles national team for the upcoming Qualifiers .

The question facing Rohr and the NFF is who and who should the invited from the NPFL to be included in the 23-man list for the clash against Sierra Leone later this month.

Two players who should be consider by Gernot Rohr because of the impressive performance so far this season in the Nigeria Professional Football League .

Stanley Dimgba (Enyimba)
Stanley Dimgba is one of Enyimba's stand out players this season in both the NPFL and in the CAF Confederation cup,playing on the right side of the midfield ,who can still play as a winger in the front three .

Dimgba has been in a fine form this season scoring Six times this season for Enyimba and has been knocking on the door to be invited to the super Eagles team and now is the right time for him to be invited to the team .

Ndifreke Effiong (Akwa united)

Ndifreke Effiong is leading the NPFL scoring chart this season with 10 goals and has been on a scoring run for Akwa united so far this season .

Effiong who can also play in any position in the front three will be hoping to get a call up to the national team this time around after his impressive performance so far this season for Akwa united .

Those two are the players who I think Gernot Rohr should include in his 23-man list for the upcoming AFCON 2021 Qualifiers.

LMC Fines  Abia Warrior 5 million Naira over disruption in matchday 20 fixture against Enyimba in Umuahia The league Management company (LMC) have fined Abia Warriors 5,000,000 over crowd disruption of the matchday 20 fixture against Enyimba in Unuahia . The fine is expected to be paid by Abia Warriors within 10 working days in a summary jurisdiction exercised by the LMC. Abia Warriors will also play a minimum of their next three consecutive home matches behind closed doors with no fans before a possible review which can only be carried out if the LMC is satisfied that conditions which led to the disruption has been completely eliminated. Out of the 5 million naira fine ,Enyimba will receive 2.5 million naira as compensation for injuries and damages to property .
