Saudi crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman is primed to prise Newcastle united away from owner mike Ashley as a 300m pounds takeover of the club inches ever closer .

Bin Salman heads a consortium which involves Saudi Arabia's Sovereign wealth fund along with British billionaire businessmen,the Reuben Brothers .



Bin Salman would slide in at number four on the list but which of the premier league's money men make up the rest of the Top 10 richest owners 

10.Southampton
Gao Jisheng -Net worth:3.1 billion pounds 



The Chinese real-estate tycoon bought the club for 210 million pounds three years ago,but Southampton have struggled since he took over, forever hovering above relegation zone .


9.Manchester united 
The Glazers family- Net worth: 3.6 billion pounds



Given man utd's Status as one of the biggest club in the world,it is perhaps surprising to see the Red Devils so low down on this list .

Its been far from plain sailing for the Glazer .they weren't exactly greeted warmly when they took full control in 2005, with some fans splintering off and forming FC united of Manchester in protest .

Calls for the Americans to sell the club have heightened in recent seasons but their 1 Billion pounds Valuation of united has acted as a stumbling block for potential suitors.

LMC Fines  Abia Warrior 5 million Naira over disruption in matchday 20 fixture against Enyimba in Umuahia The league Management company (LMC) have fined Abia Warriors 5,000,000 over crowd disruption of the matchday 20 fixture against Enyimba in Unuahia . The fine is expected to be paid by Abia Warriors within 10 working days in a summary jurisdiction exercised by the LMC. Abia Warriors will also play a minimum of their next three consecutive home matches behind closed doors with no fans before a possible review which can only be carried out if the LMC is satisfied that conditions which led to the disruption has been completely eliminated.
